They are sharp, and made no noise when cutting nails. For me it’s a very good thing, because it’s one less thing to scare the dog when you cut the claws. Rating: 5 / 5

There are, of course, different types of nail size for cats and dogs on the market but I think the guillotine type to be the easiest to use and far. It works better for me if I want to reverse. You simply insert the nail into the circle and the SNIP, as you use a wire cutter. My cats were a little hesitant at first, but once I’m better at it (that is to say capable of doing it faster), they are much better for the bear. I probably did not cut as close as the vet would – I basically just take the barb off the claw, but using it on a regular basis, it prevents them from getting stuck in the carpet. It’s scary the first couple times you use it, of course. It is useful to have an accomplice to take the animal and a styptic pencil nearby in case you cut to the heart and blood. I’m never far from the cut so short, but I feel better just knowing that I have the pencil Hemostatic hand, just in case. Rating: 5 / 5
