I have 5 Havanese coats in show and play with them all the time, mat their hair very good. I tried just about everything on the planet, but still managed to lose a lot of hair when they had the wrong mats. The only thing I found that worked best is a very expensive dematting spray aerosol is no longer available anywhere. You must be patient and let the product penetrate the hair before attempting to brush. Also, I found that if I use my brush to emergency dematting Pooches The (red handled one), the combination of the two are really working below dematting with very little loss of hair. After use, it seems to help keep the carpet back. I gave it four stars because of using the aerosol mist that worked better. So, if and when it is available again, this is what I’ll use from now on. I work as a groomer and have tried all unraveling know, but once I tried IoD # 63 I went to my search was over. It is known tangles and mats. I use it with the Zapper The Pooch Matt Christensen and Chris Wood Pin Brush, then come right out tangles. Now I can go out MATTS I used to have to shave. It’s the best stuff. I use either shampoo, royal jelly or shampoo detangles followed by a conditioner. IoD I LOVE! Rating: 5 / 5

We breed and show Lhasa Apsos. This is the best detangler I’ve ever used. It is effective and does not dry the coat. Follow the instructions and you’ll be satisfied with the results. Rating: 5 / 5

I own a salon company, and we tried dozens of detangling over the years. Isle of Dogs Detangler No. 63 is by far the best I’ve ever used. None of us can imagine our work without him. You’ll be amazed how easy mats sliding out of the coat of the animal to use it with a brush or a comb Slicker acier.Aussi if you notice any mats army air drying, gives a spray everywhere, and continue drying.
