Dog Grooming Table

The main equipment item in any groomer’s salon is the dog grooming table. How can one cut hair, de-mat or trim nails when one cannot have a well-fixed body position? A dog grooming table allows one to take the dog at a working height for easy access to the nails, coat, eyes and ears . The applications of a dog grooming table are multiple, and the use is extended in all salons. Moreover, the functionality of other tools is often influenced by the choice of the right dog grooming table. Some tables have a loop, noose or arm integrated, while others don’t. And the groomer needs such equipment to keep the dog still on the table.

The diversity of models is also a proof of the efficiency of different dog grooming table designs. When you plan to make an investment, it is better to buy an item that has the noose or arm incorporated rather than purchase them separately. Stationary, electric or hydraulic, the dog grooming table eases work a lot. Electric models are by far the most expensive because they allow the table surface to drop or raise at a comfortable height depending on the size of the dog.

    Wobbling Grooming Table

Product was delivered quickly. Assembly instructions are clear. But the darn thing wobbles so badly the dogs are mortified to be on it and there's no way to groom or trim nails or clean ears with the table top wobbling terribly. The wobbling is so bad it's like having a 8.5 Earthquake in your room.... except the only thing moving is the table.
    Completely Unstable & Worthless

Purchased this as an additional table in a grooming facility. This table is totally useless for 95% of the dogs we groom. It was easy enough to put together. From the moment you put a dog on the table though, if the dog is even slightly nervous, the table shakes uncontrollably. I'm not talking about a dog jumping around on the table. I'm talking about a talk that is barely trembling. Even dogs that don't even appear to be trembling make this table shake. It's really bizarre. Our groomers were scared to even attempt to groom any of the dogs that we placed on the table for fear they would injure them with the clippers or scissors.

We attempted to use it for 2 days on about 12 different dogs and 11 out of the 12 made the table shake. The only one that didn't was a tiny shih-tzu puppy.

Utterly useless piece of garbage. The company sent an RMA # quickly when I wanted to return it, but would not cover the cost of shipping their junk back to them. Guess they didn't want it either. It was going to cost something like $80 to ship the thing back. I didn't pay much more than that for it, and the refund would only end up getting me $120 back since they won't refund their original $50 shipping charge. So they would have refunded $40 net. Not worth my time. Maybe I can sell it to someone who only grooms 5 pound dogs.

Don't waste your money on this.
    worthless

    Reviewer: ddd,
I also purchased one of these tables and was very unhappy with it. Any dog over 3 pounds (which isn't very many) will shake this table like an earthquake just hit. It is so unstable and wiggly, and one of the dogs pulled on the grooming arm and the end of the table broke. I tried to use this table the first day, and got about three hours of use out of it and now it sits against a wall and is used for holding our paper plates and cups.
    Not worth the effort

I am SO sorry I purchased this table. (Perhaps 'sorry' isn't a strong enough word) I have Collies; average weight of each one is 56 lbs. When I put the first dog on the table, the darn table shook horribly. The poor dog gave me a "get me the heck off of here!" look. I tried with my oldest gal, and I thought she was going to leap on to my shoulders she was so frightened. Now it is taking up space in my house and being used as a catch-all table. I don't even want to take a chance on selling this, and am seriously considering just giving the darned thing away. Never again would I purchase anything from the company this came from. I'll just go back to the gal who has been grooming them for the past several years. Would rather spend the money there than to buy another table.

Although cheaper, hydraulic models have a similar functionality principle. There is no stooping or bending, and you don’t have to lift large dogs to the work level. If you don’t have the money to buy an expensive design, the stationary dog grooming table remains the only reasonable variant. It will be more difficult to adjust the table legs manually, but this is nevertheless possible. Besides these adjustment criteria, you can also select a dog grooming table according to the table top size. As for home use, the dog grooming table has to match the dog breed.

Both pets and owners enjoy good work conditions on a dog grooming table installed at home. Make sure to evaluate your investment and the possible savings you would make in time. Instead of taking the pet to the salon, you can perform the grooming routine yourself thus cutting back on costs. This is usually possible for small or medium-sized dogs with not-too-thick hair. Otherwise, the dog grooming table makes a poor home purchase, and professional maintenance is a must, whether you like it or not.
