i’m sure this works fine on dogs, etc. but that isn’t what i bought it for.
i just wanted a plain metal comb, and this seemed like a good deal.
unfortunately for me, i didn’t get that “rotating” meant that the tines rotate. and it wasn’t in the product description.
this makes it essentially useless for the purpose i bought it (i wanted to use it to dreadlock my hair).
hopefully i can get my money back.

I have a shih tzu dog and his hair can really get matted. I have tried so many different combs and they either do not work or the teeth bend out of place after a couple of uses. This comb works great. It gets the matted hair combed out, especially on his ears and tail – the rest of him we keep pretty short. And the teeth look as good as new. It does not pull as bad either, so he sits there calm and patient while we comb his ears. Great price for a great working comb.

I really like this comb. Especially the spinning teeth, it’s not so hard to go through the hair. And I believe my puppy likes this comb also because she doesn’t scream so much when she’s getting brushed.

Have i ever used a better comb than this, Yes. Was that comb almost $40 more than this one, Yes. For the money this is the best comb that i have used. It fits well in your hand and the rotating teeth allow the hair to go though easier and only snags on the knots, not just thick parts. Very good item!

If you have an animal with long, silky and easily gnarled hair/fur, this is for you. The comb glides thru the hair and right thru the snarls. We even use this on our cat! Nice to have the two spacings of tines, too.
