It is a heavy duty, solid Clipper. I bought many of these dog grooming kits "to find that they do not cut for anything. I have a chow / Dobie mix who needs short hair in summer. It comes with a blade # 10 - cutting more shorter than what I expected, but then he needs a plate less often. Never get bogged down. Mows Just right through his thick fur.Rating: 5 / 5

I have two dogs that must be maintained periodically. Recently I used my cut-nine and was very happy. It was easy to clean which is a plus in my book. I like how the blade can be changed as well as my dogs coats are very thick and dull a blade in a heartbeat.Rating: 5 / 5

Powerful and quiet, not heat up quickly though. This is a better way to trimmer than I am now able to use my experience with cutting my shi tzu. It shows the results of trimming my inexperience and I am sure that if humans would be very embarrassed. I am still learning.Rating: 4 / 5

The Andis AGC Super 2 Speed Model 2 does not heat up for me until I had been clipping for about 1 / 2 hours - even then it was "palpable" and does not require a long time to cool. However, I have some other reasons why I could not give 5 stars. Firstly, the instructions were in a tiny font, and photographs illustrating the steps were also small. I find it almost impossible to follow, because I could not see clearly - and my vision is good. Secondly, the agreement replaces the directions with the blade and general cleaning of the mower. There are no guidelines on how to keep the mower while you work, or techniques of cutting hair from your dog these things I had to learn by trial and error. Thirdly, it was very difficult to get the mower to pass through the hair of my poodle, which is very thick. Using high speed, and a new blade (for 3 / 4 "long cut), I went over him, every passage go a little deeper into his fur. It worked, but took a very long time . I discovered that I could get the best cut from the mower extremely slowly. I did it every day for 3 days to get his hair cut, I thought it would take a couple of hours max. Overall, I think a smaller clipper was even more difficult to use on my poodle's hair, and I see no problem with the mower itself. He held up quite well. In addition, being a inexperienced user certainly contributed to the difficulties I had.Rating: 4 / 5
